I've tried to get a "corporate" account at Staples and they still want a personal guarantee. Is this a wise thing to do? Will they drop the guarantee once you've established a payment history?

Hi Sandee, yes. Get the account going and as you get credit history, you will be able to drop the personal guarantee. Dustin
People with bad personal credit can clean up their personal credit using business credit. The reason why the PG is needed in the beginning is because the person does not have good personal credit. This way, by making the first few monthly payments on your business credit card, you are building rapport with the lender.
I have been in the rental business since 1996, the name of the business is Trey & Fayth Rentals, but I have never got a D&B number or applied for business credit, My personal credit is bad, I own over a million dollars worth of property and owe about $500,000. on it with one bank. Please give me some advice!!
